Policy Analysis and Development

National level policy adviser for the provision of healthcare services in the education sector. Health and education expertise and critical review skills enables policy analysis which gives unique insights. Fresh views of policy can help organisations to think differently and develop innovative solutions to challenges that make a real difference to those receiving and delivering services.

Partnership Facilitation

Extensive experience as partnership facilitator. Support provided to establish and sustain effective partnerships and integrated ways of working across public and private sector organisations including developing shared vision and memorandums of understanding through to integrated commissioning and provision frameworks. Conducting service mapping exercises to identify stakeholders and their roles, establishing multiagency working groups and developing and implementing joint planning and delivery approaches.

Project and Programme Management

Associate member of the Association for Project Management, project and programme management skills utilising both predictive (Prince2) and iterative (Agile) methodologies as appropriate. Working across all levels and areas of an organisation’s workforce to ensure effective engagement so that projects and programmes are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, this engagement ensures that staff have ownership and service improvements are sustained.

Service Review and Redesign

Service improvement support and advice spanning the entire service review, redesign and implementation phases. Experienced in conducting baseline assessments and service pathway reviews, identifying opportunities for transformation and improving service user experiences and outcomes. Service improvements are underpinned by robust compliance, governance and risk management approaches.

Business Development

Business development expertise in planning, bid/proposal writing and evidenced based approaches to organisational change. Combining commercial and operational experience to assist organisations in delivering improved ways of working and transform outcomes for both service users and organisations. Business development work encompasses every aspect of organisational function; clinical, performance, governance, workforce, finance and service user engagement.

Research

Knowledge and understanding of a situation is the first step towards identifying solutions and delivering improvements so conducting the right research is key. ESC is a research specialist and can lead on all aspects of qualitative and quantitative methodologies; including ethics submission, design, data collection, data analysis and interpretation and report writing.
