Locala Community Partnerships CIC – Care Closer to Home
Locala Community Partnerships CIC commissioned ESC to provide interim business and project management expertise to secure the NHS Kirklees CCG and Greater Huddersfield CCG Care Closer to Home community services tender.
ESC’s objectives were to;
- Provide operational support to ensure Locala was awarded the contract to provide NHS Community Services across Greater Huddersfield and Kirklees which would preserve Locala’s financial viability and sustainability.
- Establish the framework for the tender response which channeled the necessary resources and activity within the context of maintaining business as usual.
What ESC did
- Developed the Locala Campaign Plan which provided the framework for Locala’s tender response activities. Campaign planning adopted a structured approach with four main areas of work; clinical service models, commercial viability, engagement and enablers.
- Supported the establishment of the required work streams and worked with Locala colleagues to define key outputs/deliverables.
- Devised and monitored the programme plan.
- Designed and delivered a ‘Unique Selling Proposition and Value Proposition’ workshop for senior management and work stream leads. The aim of which was to identify and articulate what makes Locala different and the value Locala adds which ensured these benefits were golden threads throughout the tender response.
Impact
- Locala was awarded the Care Closer to Home community services contract with a value of £287 million.
- The contract secured not only high quality community services for the populations of Kirklees and Greater Huddersfield but also preserved Locala’s organisational sustainability and financial viability.
